More Warriors Are Always Needed!

I have been reading a book titled “Mother Warriors” by Jenny McCarthy.  In it she speaks of he son Evan, autism, and the treatment options that are available yet not recognized by the medical community for a variety of reasons.  What I think is most impressive about Jenny is that she had taken this topic of Autism head on in this book.  I think many parents feel helpless when faced with the diagnosis that their child has autism.  They are frustrated at their pediatricians, and many times deep down at themselves for vaccinating their child leading to autism.  Although this may be a controversial topic, what these parents witnessed following their child’s vaccination speaks for itself.  This book talks of the specific dietary changes that can be made that can cause dramatic improvements in children with autism.  As she says in the book, although there may never be a “cure” for autism, that doesn’t mean that a child can not recover from the damage that was caused.  There are some amazing stories in the book of the challenges that many parents have faced with their children, and I would recommend this book to anyone.
